Noemi Muya
Founder
Noémi Muya is an attorney of the High Court of South Africa, an LLM candidate, and the founder of For Women in Law (FWIL). She holds a BA Law and an LLB degree. She is also a Golden Key member, having served as the vice president of the Golden Key Chapter at the North West University (Vaal Triangle campus).
Her career is marked by a deep commitment to mentorship, legal education, and advancing opportunities for aspiring lawyers.
As the founder of FWIL, Noémi has created a space for women in law to connect, learn, and grow professionally. Through mentorship, workshops, and career guidance initiatives, she has played a vital role in supporting law students and young professionals.
In addition to her work with FWIL, Noémi has shared her expertise as a guest lecturer at institutions like Varsity College and has been a speaker at conferences, panels, and workshops on topics ranging from career development to legal issues affecting women. She has also been actively involved in panel discussions and dialogues, including the WITS Women’s Day Dialogue, where she engages in meaningful conversations about gender equality and legal careers.
Beyond her contributions to legal education and mentorship, Noémi is expanding her influence in the corporate legal sector.
With a unique blend of academic excellence, legal expertise, and a passion for empowering others, Noémi’s aim is to continue to shape the future of women in law, leaving a lasting impact on the legal profession.
